Kristen covers a great indie artist, in a great original way with a great voice. Also, she wears killer lipstick. a-year-at-sea: CLOSING THE DOORS- CAROLINE SMITH AND THE GOODNIGHT SLEEPS I may or may not look/sound like a boyscout, but that’s mostly because my sinuses were being poor sports. also because boyscouts have impecable fashion sense.

Casey Shea and the boys came up on our office roof and rocked “Chelsea”. Of course we were busted mid-song by our kind and benevelont landlord who let them finish the song. Turned out they were standing on top of the skylight, with 2 inches of rubber between them and the glass structure underneath, but no one died! Totally worth it! Wait for the end to see the landlord pop up trying to...

Song Of The Day: Iron & Wine - Walking Far From Home Sometimes one great lyrical line makes me want to check out an entire album I wasn’t that interested in before. In this case it was “I was walking far from home, but I carried your letters all the while,” which somehow touched me and painted a vivid picture. Beautiful.

This short film for the new Rodarte fashion line is gorgeous, as is the Deerhunter soundtrack. But it’s a bit disturbing to know Elle Fanning is 12 years old, modeling clothes intended for adults almost twice her age (and some sadly hoping to be her size), in 4” heels. Perhaps I’m taking this too seriously. What do you guys think?

Our friend Misty Boyce released a new video today, for her song “How Long”. Misty is not only a great singer/songwriter, you will notice during the first part of the video she is also the world cutest pouter. Don’t worry, she smiles towards the end of the video again.
