Artist Q&A: Casey Shea As part of the Family Records Newsletter, we’ve started a monthly Q&A with a Family artist.  Last month, we asked you send your questions for Casey Shea.  You stepped up to the plate, and here are your answers! Question 1: Can you tell us about any 2012 touring plans? Casey: Well you’ll have to ask the Dutchmaster Of Defense (send all requests and demands to Wes) to get the real scoop, but from what I understand, we’re planning on some east coast/southern touring later this year.  Any bands you guys would want to see me play with? Question 2: Do you plan on returning to the UK/Europe any time in the near future? Casey: Once again, the Dutchmaster really knows more about this than I do, but I really would like to return soon!  There has been talk of going to Germany for a bit, and if that happens, I hope to be hitting the UK as well on that trip. Question 3: What’s your favorite song off of your new album? Casey: Obviously all the songs are equally amazing, so it’s technically impossible to choose. However, from a recording standpoint, I think “It Is What It Is” or “Let It Slide” came out closest to what I had envisioned, so one of those. Question 4: Name your favorite movie and why.  Casey: The Big Lebowski.  If you’ve seen it, then you know why.  It’s simply the best movie ever.  If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and go watch it. You can thank me later. Question 5: How do you keep your hair looking so luscious? Casey: I think not washing it is the key!
