Our Secret Customer Delight Program We have been doing some research in the last few months on people that come through our store. We’ve spent a lot of time at the merch table at shows talking to and thanking people for their support, asking them about where they’re from, how they discovered the bands, and so forth. This kind of interaction is one of the greatest parts of what we do, and we look forward to doing it. There’s no substitute for meeting people face to face and letting them know with a look in the eye, a hug, or a smile that their support and their person mean a lot to us. The photo above represents a new extension of this kind of exchange. Samantha is an outspoken, incredible fan from the UK who has quite literally been one of the greatest supporters that the Family Records has had - something we discovered in researching the records of our online store. She’s voraciously consumed the majority of the Family Records catalog and is proud to wear t-shirts, hang posters, and discover downloads from all corners of the Family Records roster. She’s even attended shows on two continents! In appreciation of her and this discovery, we sent her a small surprise package, as well as a note with a drawing of a much deserved golden crown that we only wish we could send her in thanks. This is the glorious start of the Secret Customer Delight Program, in place so that people will know when they come to our store that they’re not just clicking on downloads and getting a t-shirt sent to them from a website. We’re watching and appreciating, and we’ll find a way to let you know.
