Remember this rough sketch we posted about a week ago? It’s now turned into the beautiful poster above promoting Pearl and the Beard’s UK tour dates! Pretty classy stuff, right? Thanks again to Kristine Thune, who created this design and brought it to life.
And of course, don’t forget to spread the word about those UK shows!
Pearl and the Beard announce inaugural UK Tour!
Pearl and the Beard are bloody excited to announce their very first UK tour THIS NOVEMBER! The tour kicks off in London, where the band will be opening for longtime friends Jukebox the Ghost. Then it’s two headlining shows in London (at a gorgeous old church where the acoustics blew Lauren’s socks off when she saw Bon Iver there) and Manchester; and a return to London, where PatB is excited to be opening for the very talented Amy LaVere.
Help us spread the word so the Pearl and the Beard can have many a successful trip across the pond! Re-blog, re-tweet, re-facebook, re-tumbl, email, mass text, skywrite, telegram, announce over your school’s intercom system, post to your office bulletin board - you get the idea. Let’s get excited!
Maaaaaiiiiiilllll’s heeerrreee!! We just received this* package of beautiful, limited edition, screen-printed Wakey!Wakey! tour posters! These will only be available on the upcoming UK/Europe tour, so be sure to pick one up if you’re attending any of these shows. I have one sitting in front of me right now, and I can assure you, these are some classy posters. Trust me! Much thanks to Jose and Edwin of I Love Misery for the design!
*also featured: our very own Lauren, in the best hat ever (you can’t see, but it has ears).
Here be Kerri, a dedicated (and patient) Pearl and the Beard fan from the UK! The band hasn’t made it out there for any shows yet, but definitely hopes to soon. In the meantime, we all appreciate your support!
You can find a shirt like Kerri’s right here in the Family Records Store.
